Quick barbecue snacks
Super fast and exceptionally tasty – barbecue appetizers! Simple recipes will diversify the grill menu and will be a great addition to meat dishes. Baked potatoes with a ruddy crust, grilled asparagus, stuffed mushrooms and stuffed tomatoes with cheese. Traditional sausage, crispy toasts and a light salad. See what else to prepare!
Shared grilling is a great opportunity to meet friends, but also to prepare your favorite dishes, that’s why I always look forward to the first warm days. Meat usually reigns on the grill. I do not remember barbecue without baking a previously marinated pork neck or very simple and fast in preparing a chicken breast. I always try to make the grill also include lighter grilled snacks that will be a great addition to meat, but also be tasty as a dish in itself.
Baked potatoes – warm grilled snacks
Baked potatoes are the perfect addition to grilled meat or fish. The best ones are those baked in their uniforms and seasoned with aromatic herbs. Lick your fingers! I love them as a barbecue snack, but also as a part of everyday lunch.
- New potatoes
- Garlic cloves
- Fresh herbs and salt
Wash the young potatoes and scrub their skin thoroughly with a small brush. Do not peel vegetables. You can cut them into quarters or, if they are not too large, bake them whole.
Arrange a portion of potatoes on a piece of aluminum foil, add slices of onion and sliced garlic cloves to them. Season with a pinch of salt, chopped with fresh (or dried) herbs. Fresh herbs can be easily chopped using special herb scissors, which are equipped with several blades.
Add a few teaspoons of butter, which will make the potatoes do not stick to the foil and have a brown skin. Prepared vegetables wrapped in foil and baked on the grill for about an hour. From time to time, turn the potatoes so that they all evenly baked.
Enjoy your meal!
All the best,
